Frequently Asked Questions about the festival.

Do I have to be 21 to attend?

Absolutely. No one under the age of 21 may attend. You may not bring children of any age. This extends to infants in strollers or Baby Bjorns or backpacks or those cloth sling things I can never figure out. This policy is for your child's safety. It can get very crowded and hot.

What if it rains? Will you reschedule or can I get a refund?

No. This is a "rain or shine" event. As an outdoor festival, there is always a risk of rain. However, the logistics of putting together an event this huge and this fun, including coordination of all the beer distributors, brewers, entertainment, and the ever-popular legal permits make it impossible to move this event in time or space. Besides, it rained back in 2004 and again in 2009 and no one seemed to notice.

I'm the designated driver. Can I get in for free?

Afraid not. We had a designated driver program in the past, and unfortunately it was widely abused by those who planned to drink but didn't want to pay to get in. Please remember that your ticket purchase is going to charity!

May I bring my dog?

No. This is for your dog's safety.

I'm pregnant, so I can't drink. Can I get in for free?

Unfortunately, we do not have any alternate pricing available. Please remember that the cost of admission is going to a very good children's charity.

Is there food?

Yes--we will have a variety of food available for purchase.

I want to volunteer. How do I do that?

Thanks--we love free help. Please contact us.

What do I get for my ticket? (i.e., how does this work?)

Well, after we card you and you pay us, we hand you a souvenir pint glass. You then wander around the festival and stop at any of the tables, where a kind volunteer will pour some beer in your glass (just a little, though--remember we have over 100 choices!). You then repeat that as often as you like. There will also be some representatives there from various breweries who would be happy to talk about their beers, some food for purchase, some bands to listen to, and some carnival games.

Do I get a free T-shirt?

No. We have done this in the past, but as this is a charity event, we have decided to sell T-shirts to increase amount we are able to provide to Camp Twin Lakes.

How can you be serving XYZ? I thought they didn't make it any more but you are listing it on the Web site.

You're probably right. There's over 100 different beverages available. We make mistakes.

Why don't you plan to have XYZ?

Well, there could any one of a number of reasons for that. It could be because XYZ cannot be distributed in Georgia because of the strange and bizarre beer laws. Maybe it is because we ran out of room to include it. Maybe it is because there is a limited supply and we are keeping it for ourselves.

I want to sell something at your festival. Can I do that?

We might be able to work something out. Please contact us.

My band totally rocks and I want to play at the festival. Can I have the gig?

Maybe. All the entertainment is selected by Rock 100.5. Please reach out to them if you are interested.
